Having been an Electrician most of his adult life, he has always loved this line of work. Alan went through a 4 year apprenticeship program, working for various electrical contractors and on a variety of projects. Wherever he worked he was always promoted due to his eagerness to expand his knowledge and his love of this work. In 2005, Alan took everything he owned and with a small Astro van started Cornerstone Electrical Contractors. His reputation for quality, knowledgeable work soon spread, and he quickly found the business growing. Cornerstone Electric has maintained that growth and positive customer relationship throughout the years. Alan’s ability to instill his values of the business into the employees is what helps this company continue to grow. Alan is married to his very patient and lovely wife, Margaret. He has three daughters, three sons and multiple grandchildren that help keep him active.

He prides himself on being an integral team leader that builds strong relationships and strives to always meet project deadlines. His duties include liaison between field and office, coordinating schedules and manpower directly with Cornerstone’s customers, and overseeing the quality control and safety of all operations. Gene graduated from the IEC Apprenticeship Program in 2003. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, watching or attending sporting events and golfing.

Chip Carroll
Cornerstone's Project Manager / Estimator
He is responsible for project management, controlling budgets, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Chip holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships resulting in successful electrical construction experiences. Chip has over 20 years' experience. He also went through a 4-year apprenticeship program working for various contractors in many electrical arenas. Outside of work, Chip enjoys hiking or jeeping through Arizona’s scenic desert and mountain trails.

He utilizes his knowledge and communication skills to ensure all supplies arrive accurately and on time. He believes that quality craftmanship is of the utmost importance which motivates him to always work hard and excel in his job. Jeremy’s previous experience includes heavy equipment operator and crew leader in underground construction. In his spare time he enjoys family, friends and spending time in the outdoors of Arizona.

Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, office management and human resources. She loves organization, giving attention to detail, promoting a positive atmosphere and being a part of the Cornerstone team. Before devoting herself to Cornerstone, Joan used her experience as a professional ballet dancer to teach dance to K-5th graders, providing much needed arts education for Tucson public school students. Joan is a wife, mother of four daughters and one son-in-law, and a proud grandmother.
